Kristi Everhart is an accomplished educator with a rich background in teaching, spanning 16 years in the classroom and over 20 years of individual/small group instruction. Her dedication to unique approach to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments has made her a standout figure in education.
Throughout her career, Kristi has demonstrated expertise in catering to diverse student needs. Her experience extends to working with English as a Second Language (ESL) students, Special Education (SPED) and 504 programs, Gifted and Talented (GT) students, as well as those grappling with dyslexia. Kristi's commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by students has driven her to become well-versed in reading intervention and math strategies, ensuring that every student receives the tailored support they require.
In addition to her teaching endeavors, Kristi Everhart has embraced the world of podcasting. As the host of "Our Heart For Teaching," she shares insights, stories, and strategies with fellow educators and stakeholders in the education community. This platform allows her to extend her passion for teaching beyond the confines of the classroom, inspiring others to approach education with heart and dedication.
Kristi currently serves as the Lockhart ISD team lead for 6th-grade math, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to collaborative efforts within the education system.
