What is an Innovation Caucus? An Innovation Caucus is a forum designed to foster collaborative dialogue, critical analysis, and the exchange of ideas among participants who are passionate about a specific subject area. It's a unique opportunity for:
  • stakeholders to come together, drawing from diverse experiences and perspectives
  • to explore innovative solutions and strategies.
The focus is on active participation and collective problem-solving, and forging connections among individuals dedicated to making a tangible impact.

This session zeroes in on the pivotal area of educator preparation programs. As the landscape of education continues to evolve in response to technological advancements, societal shifts, and changing educational needs, educator prep programs must shift to meet those needs as well. Participants will engage in structured small group discussions to tackle the pressing challenges facing educator preparation today, share innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and exchange current experiences in the field. This caucus aims to uncover strategies and needs for enhancing the effectiveness of educator prep programs and aiding in the response to the needs of the 21st century.

  3. Feedback and Continuous Improvement: What mechanisms can be put in place to ensure ongoing feedback from graduates and employers to continually improve educator prep programs?
